Is this a mushroom or a toadstool? I have no idea, but we found it growing in our yard a long time ago.

I saw this round blue metal street cap thing in Kansas City Missouri, I don’t know what it is called, but it is embossed with KCMO Water, and has a symbol of a water spout fountain. I think it is so workers can get under the street to work on water pipes.

Smile For a Month – # 16 & 17 May – Ice Tree

The prompt words for # 16 is for a tree, and today’s # 17 is ice, so combining them gets ‘ice tree’.

The photos show winter scenes of a completely ice covered tree branches that was in our neighborhood one year.

The second one was from years ago. The tree in the back yard had such heavy ice covered branches it was bent all the way to the ground. Our dog at the time was walking under.

The third one was from this past winter – several birds – doves – were perched up in the front yard tree which was covered with ice and snow.

This is a pretty white fence on top of a tall brick building. I have no idea what the building is, or why they built a fence on top. It’s a mystery.

I found this box of cute stationery at a yard sale one time. It has blank note cards, writing paper, cute sticker stamps, envelopes, postcards, and envelopes. It also had a couple of pencils in there. It looks like it was made to be old fashioned, with maps, and birds and feathers, and neat designs.
