SHARE YOUR WORLD … WEEK # 29sywbanner

This week’s questions from Cee, and her blog  are as follows: http://ceenphotography.com/2015/07/20/share-your-world

1. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As I mentioned on a previous post, I wanted to be an archeologist. I was fascinated by old relics, bones, civilizations, antiquities. Sometimes I’d be out running around outside, and find some old, weathered bones of an animal, and I’d gather them up, take them home, and try to put them back together. That’s as much as I did in the way of becoming an archeologist. I still love to find old things, like antiques, letters, ephemera, and study about ancient people and their way of life. Doing research is a form of digging, I’d say…digging for information…so in a way you could say I’m doing what I always wanted to do.

2. What was your favorite food as a child? Do you eat it now?

I’ve always liked pretty much everything to eat. Probably I’d say whatever I was eating was my favorite at the time. One thing I do not like and will never eat, is applesauce. My mom would try to hide any medicine I had to take in a bowl of applesauce. I could always tell it was there, though. Ugh…to this day, I gag if I see it or smell it.

3. If you were invisible, where would you go?

I am invisible…I’m Ghost…:)  Actually, I’d go all different places, to haunt, to eavesdrop, to play tricks by moving things around.

4. Would you rather forget everyone’s name all the time, or have everyone forget your name all the time?

I already forget people’s name all the time. I have a habit of naming people (in my mind) what they should be named, by how they act, or look, or if they remind me of something. I only let it slip up once that I know of. I called a lady I knew, Dorothy, when her real name was Carla. She just laughed when I explained that she looked like a Dorothy to me. So I guess it doesn’t bother me if people forget my name, as long as they recognize me when they see me…and they can call me whatever they want.

5. Bonus Question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful for …as the old song goes…’the birds, and the bees, and the flowers and the trees, and the moon up above, and a thing called looove’

What I’m looking forward to is my daughter and her family (who live in another state) coming to visit next week! 🙂

Thanks again, Cee, for such interesting and fun questions!
