Jana Stanfield

Post a video of a song you’d find humorous if it came on while making whoopie.

“Push It”, by Salt-N-Peppa, was released from their album, “Hot, Cool & Vicious”, in 1987. It was written by Hurby Azor and Ray Davies, and is on the Plateau-London label.

Post a video of a protest song.

“Ohio”, by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, was released from their album, “So Far”, in 1970. It was written by Neil Young, and is on the Atlantic label.

This song came out just days after the shootings at Kent State. It is a counterculture protest anthem, in reaction to the horror of that day (May 4, 1970)
