LIMBER LIMBERT – for STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS SATURDAY

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS July 29/17

Today’s prompt word is ‘limb’. We can use this word any way we want. To join in, just click the above link for details. See other entries there, too! Stream of consciousness writing is to write freely, about whatever comes to mind. For this challenge, we can edit typos, but otherwise it’s all just SOC style. This silly little story is exactly that. Enjoy! 🙂

P.S. – try it, it’s fun!

LIMBER LIMBERT

Limber Limbert, the lumberjack, was the most limber of all the lumberjacks in the world. He won many medals for his craft. As a big dude, he’d lumber up to the lumber and start cutting off all the limbs he could find. Every time a tree would fall, he’d holler, “Limber!”, so the wood wouldn’t fall on anyone.

Using his limber limbs, he would contort himself around and around the trunks and limbs of the trees. When he was done with de-limb-ing the tree, it would all be made into lumber. He finally started his very own business. He called it, “Limbert’s Lumber and Limbs”. On the side, he’d carve wooden limb-legs for those who needed an extra limb or two. These carved limbs were made to order, and resembled little totem poles.

All in all, limber Limbert’s life was a success.
