Song Lyric Sunday Theme for 8/12/18

Helen has given us the prompt of ‘drive/driving’ for today’s SLS. Thanks, Helen!

There are so many songs in this category it was hard to choose one. However, I did settle on this one, even if it doesn’t mention those driving words. It is all about driving around and enjoying life on the road. If you hear the call of wanderlust, adventures are always just around the corner, waiting for you to find them.

I AM NOT AFRAID

Standard

I AM NOT AFRAID

Listen…silence is broken

Lone lobo laments his lonliness

In the still of the sultry night

I am not afraid

Moon flowers look to the stars above

Heat lightning foretells the future

Storm a’coming; I feel it in my bones

I am not afraid
