The Peace Lily is a large white, teardrop shaped flower with dark green leaves. It is a fairly tall plant, and I read that it is easy to care for.

Flower of the Day – Anthurium

I took this photo at a garden center a few years ago. I didn’t remember what it was called, so looked it up, and found it is a tropical flower. It’s used in weddings quite a lot.

However, it said the leaves are poisonous, so keep it away from pets, and try not to touch the leaves unless wearing gloves.
