This month long challenge is hosted by Becky of “The Life of B”. Thanks, Becky!

This month’s theme is “_____ light”.

We try to find & photograph anything with a word ending in light.

The most important rule of this challenge is that your photo Must be Square!

To join in, find out the details, and see other entries, just click the above link. It’s fun! 🙂

I’ll also be adding a song to go along with the photo in one way or another.

Enjoy!

This is a disposable lighter flame/light.

It was not easy to take this photo, because keeping the flame burning with my right hand, I had to try to take the picture with my left hand on the phone camera.

Have you ever gone to a concert, and to show your appreciation for the musicians and the songs they play, everyone holds up a lit lighter? I have. It’s pretty cool. But the last ones we attended, instead of lighters, people just held up their phones that were lit up. How times change.

1. Post a video of a song that makes you think of your youth.

“Maybelline”, by Chuck Berry was released in 1955.

I would have been five years old. I’d hear this song on the radio and I’d watch my mom putting on her make-up, and using Maybelline Mascara that came in a little red box with a brush. I had no idea what the song was about, of course, but I figured it was about using Maybelline Make-up! 🙂
