Today is the final day for January Squares & ___Lights.

Thank you so much, Becky, for hosting this wonderful challenge. It’s been lots of fun. 🙂

For this finale of light squares, I have here quite a few with blue lights that didn’t make it into the other days of this month.

But don’t be blue – Becky will be back with a new Squares challenge in April. I’m sure it will be a fun theme, to be announced later on.

My photos include:

  • Ceiling light with pale blue accents on the tiered shade with blue background wall
  • Floyd, my daughter’s white cat, sitting between two blue computer screen lights
  • Hanging blue Coors Light Beer sign with light turned on (it’s in our garage) look close in bottom right corner – a white insect!
  • Beautiful blue light lit jellyfish in aquarium in Kansas City Missouri
  • LED blue light butterfly
  • Blue round power light on computer
  • Blue computer indicator lights
  • Blue Windows computer logo screen (squares)
  • Blue and silver with lights R2D2 robot

Thank you everyone who have stopped by to look, like, and comment on my light squares posts. So very appreciated. ❤

The Silent Wings Museum here in town has all kinds of vintage airplanes like this one. This place, here at our airport, was a training airfield for the WWII glider pilots, and the museum has an actual glider, plus other artifacts, and information about the time. It has been here since 2001, Some are displayed outside, and inside, like this one, in a huge room with windows letting in the light. The light is also reflected on the shiny floor.

These many round light bulbs are over the bar area at a favorite restaurant of ours. It’s a Cajun cuisine place called Jazz. It’s the same place that has thousands of real dollar bills covering the walls, ceiling, doors, and chairs. There are a couple of neon Budweiser beer light signs in the photo, also. You can also see the lights reflected on a shiny part of the ceiling.  It’s got great food, and is a fun place to eat.

I took this photo today at about 11:35 a. m. with my camera pointed straight up at the sun. It was so bright and dazzling, I didn’t know if the picture even turned out, but this is what I got. The white hot sunlight throwing rays of light through the bare branches of our tree, all against the clear blue sky.

This is a disposable lighter flame/light.

It was not easy to take this photo, because keeping the flame burning with my right hand, I had to try to take the picture with my left hand on the phone camera.

Have you ever gone to a concert, and to show your appreciation for the musicians and the songs they play, everyone holds up a lit lighter? I have. It’s pretty cool. But the last ones we attended, instead of lighters, people just held up their phones that were lit up. How times change.

This is a fun looking carousel or merry-go-round that is in our mall. It has lots of little lights above the carousel horses.

This is just a bare light bulb shining it’s light in our pantry area of the house. It was new bulb we had to put in, as the other one had burned out yesterday. You just don’t realize how much we depend on electricity and light bulbs, until it all goes dark. I’m very appreciative of the light. 🙂

These are five lights shining through the glass of Mason canning jars. I saw them hanging above our table at a restaurant.

Also, a large sunflower in a Mason jar I saw at the flower section of the store.
