Today my choice is to have a repeat of last year’s song. I always like this one.

Seems most of the country is experiencing cold or snowy icy weather lately, so maybe this song will bring a little sunshine to everyone real soon. 🙂

***

This prompt is one I suggested, to have some kind of weather in a song. I picked sunshine as the weather. ☀️

I’ve always liked the songs by Cream, and this is a favorite. In this live performance, they have an amazing drummer – Steve Jordan.

“Sunshine of Your Love”, by Eric Clapton and Cream. The song was released in 1967. It was written by Jack Bruce & Eric Clapton, and is on the Reaction/Polydor label.

I remember this song well, because my Granny and my Dad were always whistling the tune, or humming it, or singing it.

Thanks for the challenge, Hugh. Always a pleasure to take part! 🙂

This week for the challenge, we have a sort of guessing game! Fun!

Hugh has asked us to post a song with our favorite instrument featured in it. (We had to guess what his was from the song he posted)

Now, it’s your turn! From these two videos, what do you think my favorite instrument is? I may have mentioned it in some post or other. When I was in Jr. High School, I saved up enough money to buy one of my own!

“Come As You Are”, by Nirvana, was released in 1992, from the album, “Nevermind”. It is on the DGC label, and was written by Kurt Cobain.
