Enjoy!

Just a little clock I have. It’s heavier than it looks, as it is made of crystal. It is 3 inches tall, one inch wide, and 4 inches long. I estimate it weighing about a pound.

Here’s a really good song I found, and it seems to fit the news of this week. I added the lyrics, because Yes! Time’s Up!

“Time’s Up”, by Song Suffragettes

***

Time’s up for the ruthless, the wicked, and the vain
Time’s up for the cheaters, cause now the game has changed
It’s been a long time coming
There’s a new day dawning
Gonna stop your running today
The wait’s over for the patient, the humble and the brave.
Now the way it is becomes the way it was
Yeah, you’ll always lose when you’re fighting love
They say good things come to those who wait
But we’ve waited long enough
Our time is here
Our time is now
Our time has come
Time’s up for the shadows about to meet the light
Time’s up for the castles, built on sand and spite
Rome is burning, and one thing’s for certain
The guilty are nervous tonight
We aren’t waiting anymore for the moon to turn the tides
Now the way it is becomes the way it was
Yeah, you’ll always lose if you’re fighting love
They say good things come to those who wait
But we’ve waited long enough
Our time is here
Our time is now
Our time has come
And your time is up
The scales are tipping
And the veil is ripping
And the clock is ticking
Cause the time’s up
The scales are tipping
And the veil is ripping
And the clock is ticking
Cause the time’s up
The scales are tipping
And the veil is ripping
And the clock is ticking
Cause the time’s up
The scales are tipping
And the veil is ripping
And the clock is ticking
Now the way it is becomes the way it was
Yeah, you’ll always lose if you’re fighting love
They say good things come to those who wait
But we’ve waited long enough
Our time is here (Our time is here)
Our time is now (Our time is now)
Our time has come (Our time has come)
And your time is up (Oooooooh)
(Your time is up)
We aren’t waiting anymore for the moon to turn the tides.

There is only one rule, your photograph must be square!

The December theme is TIME. I am sure everyone has found at least one #timesquare, but just in case you are struggling here are some #timesquare ideas;

  1. Timepieces – clocks, watches, sun dials and egg timers
  2. Sayings – Time & tide wait for no man (or woman!), A stitch in time saves nine, Early bird catches the worm, In the nick of time or More haste, less speed
  3. Synonyms – era, moment, season, infinity, interval, lifetime and age
  4. Out of the box – nighttime, downtime, pastime and mealtimes!

I will be posting daily and it would be fabulous if you could too, but don’t worry if you can’t as weekly posts, sporadic posts or even one post at the end of the month are all timely!

Don’t forget to keep your photograph square and to pingback to one of my time posts.

Square in December – Time – Day 1

‘Time is relative’

***

It’s time! Time for Becky’s Square in December, with the topic of …Time! Sounds fun, doesn’t it? If you’d like to participate, just check out the link above.

For my posts this month, I’ll be posting one photo of something to do with time, and a song that is about an element of time. Music is a big part of my interests, and music is timeless. Music can bring back memories of good times, or sometimes bad times, but the moment you hear a certain song, it takes you right back to that time and place. Hope you enjoy my selections for this challenge.
