“Cattle Call”, by Eddy Arnold, was written by Tex Owens in 1934. It was recorded & released by Eddy Arnold in 1944, and became his signature song.

I remember this song well, because my Granny and my Dad were always whistling the tune, or humming it, or singing it.

Spiky March Squares

For today’s spiky/pointy square I have cattle horns. They are pretty pointy, I think.

The first photo is of a display that was in the Dallas airport DFW, of a longhorn steer.

The second one is a giant statue of a Hereford steer at a restaurant.
