One-Liner Wednesday – Comparing Dogs to Cats

Cats are a very mysterious kind of folk. There is always more passing in their minds than we are aware of. ~ Walter Scott

I took this photo yesterday of two of the outside cats (one is black & one is orange) as they were sitting up on a tree branch in the front yard. Sometimes there are three or four cats all up in the tree. 🙂

Today, for July 1st, the prompt is for favorite color.

My favorite color is black, and this is Orion, my daughter’s black cat. He’s a really sweet cat. Here he is with one of his favorite toys, a white stuffed mouse. 🙂

This is a fun, month long challenge, hosted by Becky of “The Life of B”. Thanks, Becky! 🙂

This month’s theme is Lines & Squares

We try to find & photograph anything with lines of any kind, such as straight, wavy, curved, etc.

The most important rule of this challenge is that your photo Must be Square!

To join in, find out the details, and see other entries, just click the above link. It’s fun!

I think the battle lines are drawn between this black cat and the Siamese cat. I saw them having a stand-off, as they will, one day out in the street.

You can also see the parallel lines of the sidewalk/street, and the curved line of the walk-way.

This black cat is named Orion. He’s been featured on my posts before, and belongs to my daughter, son-in-law, and grand-daughter. He’s a really pretty kitty, and his fur is so soft! He didn’t used to like me, and would hiss, but that was a long time ago. Now he loves when I pet him and rub his tummy.

I wrote a few more cat Haiku poems the other day (June 3, 2019)

*

Cat falls asleep quick

Feel vibrations of his purr

Cat napping is good

*

Jump and pounce all day

Itty bitty kitty cat

Kittens love playtime

*

Kitty come to me

No really…come over here

Kitty looks aloof
