Today our prompt word is ‘busy’,

I guess we were a little busy today, as we went out to eat at lunch time, then to the grocery store. But, that’s a normal kind of day, so maybe not that busy.

Busy sounds like Buzzy a little bit. Reminds me of bees buzzing around – bzzzzzzy bee!

Here’s a couple of purple flowers with  bees that I took quite awhile ago. The bees are very busy gathering pollen from the pretty flowers.

These are some kind of purple puffy flower with a spiky look, too. Both have a bee on them. One bee is in the middle, one is on the side. They are black, with yellow fuzzy vest.

Flower of the Day – Honey Bee

I was saving these photos for the actual National Honey Bee Day, but I think I missed it. From what I read, the day was August 18, or the 3rd Saturday in August.

However, I took these pictures at the store, on September 8th. That was late for the day, too. Hmmm…I’m confused, as I kept thinking the day would be Sept. 18th.

Anyway, these are pretty flowers and decorations for celebrating the bees. Bees are important, so maybe we should be saving the bees every day of the year.
