CFFC – Afternoon & Evening & Dusk

***
Dan is now hosting Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge! Find information at the below link. Thanks so much for continuing this fun challenge each week, Dan.
For Dan’s challenge:
***
We had a very rainy afternoon I think it was the summer of 2019. These photos show the rain coming down in parallel lines! The two trees are in two different neighbor’s yards across from us.
***
***
This week we are looking up at clouds! These photos were taken one afternoon. Nice and fluffy. 🙂
***
We see people riding horses around here quite a lot. These three riders and horses were taking a break by wading in the lake by our house one day.

***
And some from evening, maybe:
***
Still bright sun in dark blue evening sky with a planet shining above.
***
From a Wiki article:
A mackerel sky is a common term for clouds made up of rows of cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds displaying an undulating, rippling pattern similar in appearance to fish scales;[1][2] this is caused by high altitude atmospheric waves.[3]

Taken with my phone camera:

And now we are up to Dusk!
***
Dusky gray sky with moon shining through darkened trees.

***
This photo is one I was just lucky enough to get. It was taken by my phone camera, and I just kept clicking hoping to catch when the lightning struck! 🙂
It was just at dusk, you can see our back yard all shadowy, and there are gray clouds above orange sky. Then there is a big flash of light with a streak of bright lightning coming down to the ground.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

Thanks, Willow! Glad you like the photos. It’s sometimes hard to tell when it changes from morning, afternoon, evening, dusk, and I guess night will be next! 🙂 That one I think I know! 🙂

Your photos are wonderful. The rain must have been coming down hard, and that lightning strike is amazing.

Thanks, Dan! Glad you liked seeing the photos. Yes, that day the rain was pouring down! I was happy I got the lightning strike, and lucky I didn’t get struck by one, as they were a lot of them that evening. 🙂

Thanks, Sadje! Interesting to try to divide up the segments of the day like this, even though we say the words, but pinpointing the actual time of each is not so easy. Glad you like the photos. 🙂
