CFFC – made of wood

Dan is now hosting Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge! Find information at the below link. Thanks so much for continuing this fun challenge each week, Dan.
For Dan’s challenge:
***
A large tree branch/trunk with brown bark
***
A sprig of dried grass that has gone to seed next to our weathered wood garden fence. A couple of nails are sticking out, and the photo I used the sepia filter.
***
Our old tree and weathered wood bench in the front yard.
***
This is a very old wooden box, with divided squares lined up in rows. There are 24 segments in all, and the side of the box showing is faded red.
I saw this in a restaurant as a wall decoration.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

I love these photos so much! Wood is fascinating, it can take so many shapes and feel entirely different ways.

Thanks, Laura! I’m a fan of wooden things, too. Trees, first of all, then all the things that can be made from the wood. I do think if they cut down lots of trees they should be planting more for the future. 🙂

Thanks, Esther! Glad you like the wooden box. I was thinking it was for Coca Cola bottles, but the segments don’t look very deep. Still, it might have been. 🙂

I wonder what the wooden box was originally used for! Things made with wood give off that natural vibe and makes me feel happy.

Thanks, Esther! The more I look at the side of this wooden box the more I do think it was used for those little glass bottles of Coca Cola. I love natural wood items, too. 🙂

Oh, that is so cool! Seeing it in real time like that would’ve been so cool.
Wood items bring me back to nature. I’ve been eyeing a water bottle with a wooden lid, but it looks heavy!
Have a great weekend.

It was a unique kind of wall decoration at that restaurant. Sometimes we can find old ones like that at yard sales. I think I have one out in the storage shed, I used as a shadow box type thing for tiny animal figurines and things. I like wooden things very much, too. Our front yard bench, and a table with a back mirror I have that our neighbor built out of weathered wood he found, too. 🙂
