Flower of the Day – Hibiscus
***
This Hibiscus is a pastel shade. Can’t decide if it is more lilac, purple, or pink. It has a yellow middle with dark red violet, too.

When I lived in Florida I loved out hibiscus. We had pink, yellow, and red blooms. Such a cheerful flower.

Thanks, Maggie! I like these flowers a lot, too. Must be nice to have them blooming pretty much year round there. I did grow some once long ago. I think I remember them being red. 🙂

So pretty! Not long before flowers will be in full bloom.

Thanks, Clara! I like these a lot, too. Nice big blooms, but to me it was strange that they only lasted a day, then another bloom would come. I did grow some once and they did pretty good out in the flower bed. 🙂

I didn’t know Hibiscus came in this lilac color! How beautiful. I ‘ve seen yellow, pink, orange-red, and deep red but not his lilac one.

Thanks, Esther! It is such a pretty color, isn’t it! I wish the blossoms lasted longer, but they sure are nice. I did grow some a long time ago, but they were the red kind. 🙂
