Canine is a word used for dogs.
I’ve had a lot of dogs, but don’t have any now.
Here’s a list of them: I’ve written in a notebook all I remember about each one. But, this is just a list of their names.
Cindy – a black and white Cocker Spaniel
King – a black mixed breed
Trouble – a brown mixed breed
Skipper – an English Springer Spaniel
Stormy – a white mixed breed
Dusty – a white mixed breed
Sam – a mixed Beagle
Freckles – a black & white Springer Spaiel
Bridget – an AKC Basset Hound
Maggie – an AKC Basset Hound
Ginger – an AKC Basset Hound
Bud – a mixed black Lab
Weasel – a mixed Basset Hound
We also had Misty (part bulldog) and Trixie (AKC Pomeranian) when I was a teen, but they were my sister’s dogs.

Thanks, Kim! We did have a lot over the years.
No, we didn’t show our Bassets. I took one to a dog training class a few times, but didn’t keep on with it. They were all sweet dogs. 🙂

I had a dog growing up. Never had a cat until I was married, but I made up for lost time. 🙂 XO

Thanks, Ellen! We always had a dog when I was a kid, never cats. My mom was afraid of cats because when she was a kid one jumped and clawed her. So we couldn’t have one. After I married we started having cats and also our dogs. Cats and dogs actually get along together, at least family member ones do. haha. 🙂

Thanks, Sadje! Yes, we sure had a lot of them. It was always sad when they passed on, though. We don’t have any pets here now. 🙂

Yes it is. It’s one reason my daughter doesn’t have one
