  1. What is the most comfortable vehicle you have even ridden in or driven?

I’ve been in many kinds of transportation. I’d say probably a stretch Limo. It was the day of the blizzard. We were at my daughter’s house in Missouri and we heard the weather was going to be horrible there and at home in TX. We cut our visit short (wah 😦 _) but when we got to the airport they cancelled our flight. So they put us in a wonderful Limo and drove us to St. Louis (2 hours away) to catch a flight from there. We barely made it to Dallas, then the flights were all cancelled there. So it was either wait for the airports to re-open which who knows how long that would be, or rent a car and drive home (3 hours away). It was pure awful driving in a blizzard, at very slow speeds on the highway we could barely even see. It took way longer than 3 hours before we finally made it home. But yeah, the Limo was nice, warm and comfortable. I even went to sleep for a little while. 🙂

I don’t know how to rate these. They always got me where I was going, so that was good. I’ll just go with bumper cars at the amusement park. Those are uncomfortable, and people crash into you. Fun, but jolting ride for sure. haha  🙂

  1. Have you ever ridden a horse (or a donkey at the seaside)?

Why does it have to be at a seaside?  Well, yes I’ve ridden a horse a few times. I had my photo taken in my back yard while sitting on a pony when I was a kid. Then my cousin and I went horseback riding every Saturday morning when we were pre teens. We had no idea how to ride a horse, but we’d pay our dollar for an hour, and they’d give us a huge horse to ride wherever we wanted. So we did! It was fun. Now where we used to ride is all built up with businesses. It was just several miles of empty fields when we were there and got horses from the stable.

4.  If you could have one of these as a pet, which would it be and why?

Black panther, cheetah, leopard, lynx

I like these choices as I like cats. Let’s forget for a moment that these are all wild animals, and pretend they are tame cats and would never claw, bite, or eat us. I’d have the black panther. I have a large ceramic black panther already. My real cat Paolo (RIP) used to hide behind it when he was little. haha 🙂

And here’s a post I wrote about it back in 2016:

“Please Introduce Yourself”

Rawr! Grrr! … oh, hi there! Didn’t mean to frighten you. I’m the nice lady’s black panther. I got all shined up for my photo. I’ve lived here for quite a few years, and my place of honor is up at the very top of the television/entertainment center. That’s so I can keep an eye on all the goings on in the house.

The nice lady always wanted a black panther, because her grandma had one. Her panther was almost my twin, except for having green jewel eyes. I like the cats of the nice lady’s house. I know that at least one cat, Paolo, likes me, too. When he was just a tiny kitten, he’d jump up beside me on the shelf, and then hide behind me for protection. Or, maybe he was just playing hide and seek with the nice lady. He’d be completely hidden, then peek over my back, to see if she’d find him. It was a fun game. He’s all grown up now, and is bigger than I am! 🙂

  1. Nice post Barbara. Thanks for sharing your world, and your black panther. I’ve never ridden a horse, but believe I did ride a donkey at the seaside as a child. They have donkeys here in the Summer and it’s great watching the kids faces as they’re having a ride.
