I remember the first time I heard it was in Germany where we were living at the time, when we bought the album.

“Highway Star”, by Deep Purple can be found on their 1972 album, “Machine Head”. It was written by Ritchie Blackore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord, ad ian Paice, and is on the EMI and Warner Bros. labels.

This guy loves his car and I would never dream about taking it away from him. Great song Barbara. I read that this song was responsible for many people getting speeding tickets racing their cars while blasting this song.

Thanks, Jim! I guess some people get a little obsessed about their cars! I know, I read that too, about people speeding and getting tickets while listening to this song. I believe it!
Hope this song was okay, as it did mention machine. I took the easy way though, as I posted this one before on SLS, but it had been about a year ago.
