Skid Row has had a lot of good songs, and this one is, too. This one tells about a teen who is completely out of control at home and in the community. He causes and is in trouble all the time. He somehow gets a gun and is showing off with it with a friend, but either they have an argument or by accident he shoots and kills the friend. The consequences were that he was sent to prison for life.

The song is the band’s biggest hit, reaching No. 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 11 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
