Flower of the Day – Zantedeschia aethiopica (Calla Lily)
***
Well, that is the scientific name for the more commonly known Calla Lily. I read that they are a native of South Africa, and evidently they come in several colors, such as white, dusty rose, and purple. This one is funnel shaped and is a pretty yellow color.

And so ends my alphabet of flowers. ๐

I’ve seen them at a local store in various colors. Very ornamental but not hardy, so they are more like a special occasion purchase for us.

Thanks, Alana! These sure are pretty. We’ve never bought any either. Well, we hardly ever buy a flower or plant, though. I just like seeing them in the store and take a photo. Glad you like seeing them, too. ๐
