Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “the last photo you took.” Take the last photo you snapped. What’s the first word that comes to mind when you look at it? That word is your prompt. Enjoy!

Cat! That’s the first word I think of when I see this little Tabby Cat.
He’s about 4 months old, and one of Wee Wow’s kittens. There are a couple more – a white and gold one, and there was a black and white one, too. I think that one traded places with one of Wow Wow’s kittens who stay across the street. They were all born within a day or two of each other. We have her solid black ones over here. Of course mom comes here too, every day for food.
We put out cat food for all the kitties around here. They get used to us and we can pet some of them, but others are skittish. All the cats around here come and go in the neighborhood.
This is the first photo I’ve taken of this little Tabby as he usually keeps a distance, but he’s getting bolder. I took a whole string of cat photos on July 28, with my phone. Hard to resist these cute kitties! 🙂

Thanks, Paula! Most stick around, others go their own way around the neighborhood. 🙂

Such a cutie. Is there a rescue that could try to fix the mama and socialize them? XO

Thanks, Ellen! They are all so cute and sweet. As far as I know there isn’t anything like that around here, and we’ve tried before, but no luck. 🙂

Thanks, Sadje! Yes, he sure is. Most days he’s pretty shy, though. 🙂

Adorable! I like the light and shadows. Where I live, we have a trap, neuter, release (TNR) non profit called, Friends of Felines. A friend and I trapped a few cats at my church over the years and found them homes. Kittens are usually easier to tame. Mama cat, who was the wildest one, lives with me now.

Thanks, JoAnna! That is wonderful to have a place like that where you live. Little kittens are really skittish and shy at first, so they do need to get used to being near people and soon they love petting. So glad you still have the mama cat with you. 🙂
