Laughter – One Liner Wednesday

Laughter is important, not only because it makes us happy, it also has actual health benefits. And that’s because laughter completely engages the body and releases the mind. It connects us to others, and that in itself has a healing effect. ~  Marlo Thomas

  1. They say laughter has a very positive effect on cancer patients, both physical and psychological.

Most of what we watch on TV is at least 50 years old, all of it funny. Forget the news, it’s all BS anyway and does nothing but frighten you and make you mad.

    • Thanks, John! I believe this is so true. And if people can get a smile or a laugh even when they aren’t feeling well, I think it does help with your state of mind, encouraging healing. Makes a person feel good.
Oh yes – same here with the TV shows. We only watch the old sitcoms and such. All I’ve kind of seen of anything new is just not funny or even anything that makes sense.
News is just so awful, except we like to see the weather reports. 😻

      • heh heh! They seem to change local weather forecasters here quite often. We get used to one, then bring in another one. We’ve had to switch channels recently because the lady and the way she speaks is so awful sounding!
