Flower of the Day – Red Bougainvillea

I saw this at a garden center a long time ago. Finally found out it is called a Bougainvillea. It was pretty tall, kind of like a shrub. I like how there is a tiny white flower part in the center.

These beautiful flowers aren’t hardy where I live. I miss seeing them in Florida.

Thanks Alana! I’ve never had one, myself, just saw it at a garden center. Maybe they do good here in TX, since they were for sale at a garden center. It would be a beautiful plant/flower to have at the house. 🙂
