Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money?  …I wouldn’t want to throw away either of these.

Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you? … Only if you are the adventurous type.

What’s the last thing you do at night? … Read a book until I fall asleep, then turn out the light and turn on my white noise machine tuned to ocean waves.

If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick? (A nod to the soon ending 2021 A-Z Blogging Challenge, my topic this year “Mythical Creatures”)

I would have the creature known as Bastet. This is an Egyptian cat goddess who was known for her protection over all cats and for watching over the household.

From a Wiki article:

Bastet is the Egyptian goddess of the home, domesticity, women’s secrets, cats, fertility, and childbirth. She protected the home from evil spirits and disease, especially diseases associated with women and children.

Here’s my Bastet cat necklace. It’s silver and sky blue with Egyptian decor engraved on it. My daughter bought it for me in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel.

  1. Thank you Barbara for Sharing Your World! Your mythical creature is perfect (or should I say purrrfect? 😉 ) AngloSwiss, another blogger here, used to talk about Bastet a lot when she ran her kitty blog. I got to learn about that lovely creature through her, and so thank you for a refreshing and pleasant memory! Great answers today! Have a lovely week!

    • Thanks so much, Melanie! Glad you enjoyed reading these, and like the mythical cat! Yes, I read some of her cat’s blog in the past, and read her Good Morning blog every morning. I’ve really enjoyed learning about some of the creatures you’ve been featuring on your A2Z posts!
      Happy mid week Wednesday! ❤
