Flower of the Day – Virginia Creeper
***
These are just a very few of the leaves of the Virginia Creeper vines that grow over our backyard fence. They turn this pretty red and rust color every Autumn. Our friend who used to live next door planted them years ago, and they are still going strong.

I do but the husband doesn’t 😁 he considers it weeds but I guess it’s because the plant isn’t native to the UK. It might be more of a problem. It’s very prolific. 🙋♀️🐝

I don’t know much about this vine except it’s pretty. My used to be neighbor planted it on their side of the fence, but it does cover our side too. 🙂
