From a Wiki article:

Think It Over” is a rock-and-roll song written by Buddy Holly, Jerry Allison, and Norman Petty in 1958, originally recorded by the Crickets. This recording, released by Brunswick Records as a 45-rpm single (9-55072),[1] reached number 27 on the Billboard pop singles chart, number 9 on the Billboard R&B chart, and number 11 in the UK. Vi Petty, Norman Petty’s wife, played piano on this recording.

Think it over, what you’ve just said
Think it over in your pretty, little head
Are you sure that I’m not the one?
Is your love real or only fun?
You think it over
Yes, think it over
A lonely heart grows cold and old
Think it over and let me know
Think it over, but don’t be slow
Just remember all birds and bees
Go by twos through life’s mysteries
You think it over
Yes, think it over
A lonely heart grows cold and old
Think it over and think of me
Think it over and you will see
A happy day when you and I
Think as one and kiss the blues goodbye
You think it over
Yes, think it over
A lonely heart grows cold and old
Think it over
Think it over

    • Thanks, Lisa! Yay for winning the Valentine ❤
Glad you like the song – lots of really great ones in this genre!
It was before my time of going skating, but Buddy Holly and his band used to play live at our skating rink. That would have been something awesome. When I was going skating, we once in awhile had a band that would play there. 🙂
