Do you enjoy skiing or ice skating or if it’s warm where you are, hiking or enjoying outdoor sports?   …  I don’t like winter, snow, cold, or sports – so nope.

Do you give to charities or homeless that you might encounter, during this time of year, more than you do otherwise? … Sorry, I don’t except put a little money in the Salvation Army bell ringer bucket as they are outside the store.

What is the most enjoyable activity you engage in during December?  Is it a tradition for you and your family? … We won’t be doing anything this year. Other years we’d get together with family for a meal and gifts.

What changes will C-19 bring to your festive celebrations this year?  … Same as answer above – no fun at all this year.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. Thanks Barbara for Sharing Your World! There have been no bell ringers outside the stores this year up here. Too much virus I guess. It is a rather grim Christmas season this year, all we can do is find a bit of cheer on our own I suppose! I hope you can find some small things to brighten your world as the month progresses! Take care!

    • Thanks, Melanie! I don’t think the bell ringers are out here this year, either. I’ll miss getting together with family this year, and hope next year will be better. 🙂

  2. I actually have sporadic bursts of giving to charities at various times during the year, but not to the Salvation Army’s red kettle thing. They have a long and torrid history of being absolutely awful to the LGBTQ community, and I won’t support that.

As for the holidays: No Christmas Markets this year. No family visits. I’ll just be staying home and working, like any other week-day.

    • Thanks, Steven! Oh, I had no idea about that … very disappointing to know that this has been going on.
Same here with no family get together this year, and we did no shopping either. I’m sure we’ll do a little FaceTime on the phone though. Hopefully next year will be better.
