Tea For Two – Stream of Consciousness Saturday

Tea For Two – Stream of Consciousness Saturday

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Nov. 21/2020

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “the last thing you put in your fridge.” Start your post with the last thing you put in your fridge. Let your mind wander from there. Enjoy!

For today’s SOCS we are to remember what we last put in our refrigerator. Funny prompt! Thanks, Linda! To join in this weekly fun, and also see other entries, just click the above link.

Local business sign says “Let’s get this par-tea started”

Pitchers of tea

Every day for you and for me

One is sweet and one is plain

Do I really need to explain

Keep the tea cold – that is the best

Pitchers of tea – no time to rest

Don’t let them get empty – must keep them full

I’m telling you now, and that’s no bull

Poured over ice

Now that is nice

This is true. I make at least two pitchers of tea every day. We drink a lot of iced tea and I keep the pitchers full and in the refrigerator. We drink our morning cup of coffee, then fix a tall glass of tea, to be replenished several times a day until bed time.

So, the pitchers of tea go in the refrigerator and come out again, over and over.

That has to be the last thing that went in this morning … a pitcher of tea.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. Mary will generally get herself a jug of iced tea when she goes to the store. She likes the mix of lemonade and iced tea. I don’t drink it: it tends to make my blood pressure go crazy. Do you have a “his” pitcher and a “hers”?

    • Thanks, John! I used to like the lemon flavored tea that was in one of those jugs, but now since I can’t have much sugar, I just make my own brewed tea. We kind of do have our own pitchers – his with sugar, mine with none. 🙂
