It’s taken me all day to think of something besides checkers, the game. I like playing this sometimes, but it’s been awhile.

There is a restaurant we sometimes go to that has these checkerboard tables you can play the game on. I play this with my grand-daughter.

Let’s see what else …

I played some easy video games this morning = check ✅

I read some blogs today = check ✅

I posted something on my own blog today = check ✅

I listened to some music on the radio & on blogs = check ✅

I read in a book (almost finished) = check ✅

It is one I’ve read at least twice before, and it’s good.

It is “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline

I’ve got ingredients to make spaghetti for supper tonight = check ✅

And that is going to be it for this time. 🙂

Hope your weekend is going good!

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

    • Thanks, Ellen! Yes, the Cracker Barrel. I like those checkerboard tables and the rocking chairs out on the porch, plus their inside store has so much to look at. Food is good too. 🙂

    • Thanks, JoAnna! It is a lot of fun playing games with the grand-kids. Checkers is pretty easy to learn and goes along fast. Mine seem to enjoy it a lot. 🙂

    • Thanks, Laura! This is at the Cracker Barrel restaurant. I don’t know if they are in your area or not, but it’s like an old fashioned themed place, with the checker boards and rocking chairs outside on the porch that anyone can play. 🙂

    • Thanks, Shelley! I like playing checkers with the grand-kids. That’s about my speed. Never played chess, but my 6 year old grand-daughter sure does. I like board games but almost never get to play any. I try not to listen to much news these days, too. 🙂

      • You’re welcome. I used to love to play board games with our kids. No grandkids yet, so it’ll be just me and Mr. I think I played chess a couple of times, definitely not enough to play that game well.
Yeah, watching the doomsday news is not on my daily to-do list.
I hope you’re having a good week. Stay well.

      • Thanks, Shelley! So far so good this week. We are scheduled to get a new roof tomorrow, so that’s good. After the last storm that took off lots of shingles we got the go ahead. So I’m sure it will be noisy for a day.
Hope all is good with you. 🙂
