Something so pretty should not be so dangerous.
Thanks, Lauren!
I know! I wonder why there has to be plants that are poisonous, anyway. Still it makes a pretty flower. 🙂
A very pretty flower indeed.
🌼🌼🌼
Pretty and poisonous – thankful not a weed in my locale. Guess best look – don’t touch.
Thanks, June!
They are pretty, but yes, don’t eat for sure. We have them all over around here. This one is right outside our back door and the porch. 🙂
It looks very similar to the flowers on a potato plant.
Yes, they do, and the potato is related to the nightshade or is in the same family of plants. Weird that we do eat potatoes (not their leaves though!)
It looks so innocent
haha – it does look like a harmless little flower, doesn’t it! 🙂
The name rings warning bells.
I know!!! Makes you want to back away slowly and don’t touch! 🙂
Purple and yellow are such beautiful colors together. Wonderful pics! 🙂
Thanks, Lisa! I do like purple and yellow together, too. I wonder if bees can get any pollen from this plant, even if it is poison. 🙂
I don’t know. Maybe they’re allergic? 😂
Who knows? We don’t have many if any bees around here, since we only have these weed flowers and no other ones. Well, I have the honeysuckle vine, but it’s only bloomed out once early on so far.
Pretty poison . . . could be the makings of a scary murder mystery.
Thanks, Priscilla! Oooh yes – that could sure be used in a scary movie. Good thought there! 🙂
Beautiful, but deadly.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Barbara. ♥
Thanks, Sandee!
Yes, it is. I wonder how many people or animals it has fooled.
Happy Friday! ❤
