A Photo a Week Challenge – Rule of Thirds

From a Wiki article:

Term: Rule of Thirds
Description: In photography, the rule of thirds is a type of composition in which an image is divided evenly into thirds, both horizontally and vertically, and the subject of the image is placed at the intersection of those dividing lines, or along one of the lines itself.

I think these photos show the rule of thirds:

  • Honeysuckle against weathered wood fence
  • Tabby Tabs our cat standing on part of a tree
  • A large wasp that was on the window in the garage
  • A yellow leaf frozen in ice on our blue truck hood
  • A pink & purple sea star (aquarium in KC MO)
