My mom always had a few of the petunias in pots, and in flower beds, and I’ve had a few over the years. These were some kind of variety that are really small, though. Cool design on them. 🙂

Have you seen the new petunia variety that looks like white paint has been splattered on the petals? They’re called night sky petunias, and are beautiful. Right now, they are quite expensive to get at the nurseries, but I hope they come down in price after the novelty of them has worn off.

I haven’t seen these ‘night sky’ petunias in person, but another blogger once had a photo of them. They are sooo pretty! I’d love to have some of them. 🙂
