    • Thanks, J!
Tornadoes are a fact of life here in tornado alley each spring. I just hope we don’t see any bad ones this year. The weather hazards around the world are sometimes so destructive. I’ve been in a typhoon, and earthquakes too. We did have blizzard conditions here a few years ago. That was pretty unusual.

    • Thanks, Astrid!
It was the worst and so scary. I’ve not been in the middle of one since then, but they do hit all around us in the spring. I just hope it happens in open fields, and not houses!

  1. These days, hurricanes and blizzards get plenty of warning. The lack of warning is what has always scared me about tornadoes, that and The Wizard of Oz. So glad you’re here!

    • Thanks, JoAnna!
That’s exactly right! With some weather storms, you do get a few days warning, but with tornadoes they can just drop out of a thunderstorm any time and any where! We just have to be on alert whenever storms are in our area. We don’t even have sirens in our city, but just watch the tv for radar updates.
