These are the questions she has asked:

Is there any year in the past decade that stands out as the best?

The years my grand-kids were born.

Has your taste in music changed in the past ten years or do you think music in general has changed?

My taste in music has not changed, but the music we hear now certainly has. I still like rock ‘n roll, and music from the 60s, but you don’t hear cool music that now.

Are you heavier or lighter than you were ten years ago?

Up and down from one time to another.

How many cars have you owned in the past decade?

One – a  blue Dodge Ram pick-up truck.

Ten years is a long time to think back on, especially when I can barely remember last week, but I’ll try. My memory is fuzzy on some of the actual dates, though.

A couple of wonderful highlights of the past decade, plus one year before that (2009), was the birth of my two grandchildren. They are delightful, and I love them very much. One is now 10 years old, and the other is six years old.

Celebrating Christmas & Thanksgiving with my daughters and their families.

Taking trips to see my daughter in another state, visiting and also seeing the sights.

Going to yard sales and book sales with my other daughter and my grand-daughter here in town.

Continuing to enjoy blogging.

Having two of my poems published in two magazines.

And I guess this last one could be both bad and good … being in the hospital several times for either illness or surgery. I survived!

The lowest points of the past 10 years was all four of our cats crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Gretchen, Weena, Paolo, and Cricket, and our dogs Bud and Weasel. (not sure about the dates)  I miss them all so much.

Having our air conditioning unit go out one summer, and in Texas you sure don’t want that to happen. We got it fixed, but for a few days there we were melting.

I’ve had fun answering the questions, and I tag anyone who’d also like to take a look back at the past 10 years. 🙂
