Well, I’m stuck on this one today. I’ve posted what I think about gravity a couple of times already, and don’t know what else to say about it. Here’s the link to my silly letter to “Dear Gravity”, in case you’d like to read it again.

I think there is a song about Gravity.

There is a book and movie with the name of Gravity, too.

I haven’t seen or read them, but they sound good.

Speaking about re-posting something you’ve written in the past, do you think that is a good thing to do? If so, how many times would be okay to re-post it. I know we have new readers all the time that may not have seen it before, but it might be boring for our regular readers to see the same ‘ol same ‘ol post.

Maybe I should just skip out on these kind of days if I don’t have anything new to add about a topic? I don’t like to miss though. What to do?

I do know that gravity is keeping me sitting down here trying to think of something longer than I should be. I need to move it along to something else.

Hope your weekend has been a good one. 🙂

  1. I’ve been thinking about reposting some things I did a few years ago. I know I’ve gotten more readers since then so it would be new. Also, not everyone reads everything the first time. I’ve noticed some pictures are missing from posts too when I go to search for something so it would be good to clean out the old and refresh.

    • I feel the same way. When I look back, some posts had maybe one or two people that saw it, or even none, so it will be fresh for those who stop by now. Some of my photos went away, too, probably because I deleted from the WP media and they disappear from any posts, too. Thanks, Janet. 🙂

    • Thanks, John!
Same here, and I always check to see how long ago or how recently I might have posted one before, or similar. And yes, some days I want to post something, but have no idea what, so I go searching old posts. 🙂

  2. I often read re-posts that I have not seen before or that were so good I love a re-reading. Sort of like meatloaf. I love it and I certainly want it more than once, but I don’t want it so often it becomes routine. Generally I consider anything more than three years old and “new pickin’s.” Few people remember anything that old. Even me. I surprised at how many things I browse through and think, “I don’t remember writing that.” Same with pictures. If they are beautiful, I can take a “soak” in them more than once. 😀

    • Same here, Oneta!
That may be an advantage to have been blogging for a long time. I forget what I did long ago, so it seems new even to me. Same for reading other blogs if I recently followed them, all their older stuff is new to me. Thanks so much! 🙂
