Daily Prompt – JusJoJan the 5th, 2020

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 5th, 2020, is “intention.” Use the word “intention” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

This prompt word was suggested by Faye, of Faye’s Mystical Musings. Thanks so much, Faye! 🙂

Intentions … I have good intentions most of the time. But then I get sidetracked by other things that I think are good intentions.

Which one comes first? I flit from one idea to another all day long, getting some things done, and leaving others for another time.

Usually my intentions are good every morning to try and get through my email notices. I’m usually working on an average of 200 a day.

I do what I can of reading blogs, and commenting back & forth, and getting my own posts ready during the day. This is in between doing regular type things around here, like cooking, laundry, going to the grocery store or lunch, and whatever else pops up that needs doing.

I don’t like getting behind, and I want to read everything that everyone posts every day, because y’all have so many great things to show and tell on your blogs.

But even with all my good intentions, I can’t get to everything. So, my usual cut off time for blogging is 5 p.m. Whatever else comes on my emails will have to wait until the next day.

And my good intentions will start again first thing in the morning. 🙂

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. Wow, I thought I had a lot but usually it is less than 100. My goal for this year is to set some more definite boundaries around the whole email/social media thing. I try to convince myself that part of it is networking.

  2. I can so relate! I tried the email notices thing, but mostly I use a Reader (not the WP one, something called InoReader) so I can get through the blogs and articles I like. I like how it keeps everything in one place. 🙂
