Well, the prompt word for today is ‘poke’.
I have very few ideas of what to say about that word.
I don’t like to be poked.
FB used to have a thing where you could ‘poke’ a friend to …what? … to say hey? I don’t know what that was all about, but I got a few pokes.
My grand-kids love Pokemon. They know all about the characters, and have the collector cards, and little figures to play with. They both can carry on long conversations about Pokemon, but it’s all confusing to me.
I’ve played the card games called Poker. It’s fun, and so many different games with all different names of them and ways to play the cards.
I like the song by Lady GaGa called Poker Face.
And, that’s all I have for the word ‘poke’ today.

I forgot about the FB poking – it got really annoying with someone (maybe Kevin?) when we spent all day “poking” each other back and forth endlessly…

The ‘poking’ thing on FB was kind of strange. I didn’t do that very often – never really knew what the point of it was. haha 🙂

I haven’t spent a lot of time on Facebook, so I have to ask: have they gotten rid of the poke? A few people would poke me, and I’d poke back, and it just became this eternal game of back and forth, so I just stopped poking back…

I’m not on FB much either. I did try to see if they still were doing the poke thing. The last I read about it was from 2018, and they say it is hidden under some menu or other, but still works as of then. 🙂
