Question # 3 – How did my blog get started?
I’d started out my blog over on Blogger (Blog Spot) and was there for a year or so. Then, as I almost never got any kind of response, it was suggested to me that I move over to Word Press. I’m so happy I did. I still have my other blog, and all my posts are still there, but I’ve not written on it in a long time, and am slowly transferring all the posts to Word Press.
Mostly I just wanted to post my fan fiction story for people to read. (Two Souls: Into the Fire). I also took part in the A to Z Blog Challenge and posted all those there. Now that I’ve moved here on WP, I am happy to say that the community of bloggers I’ve met is fantastic. The interaction with likes and comments, and getting to know a bit about my fellow bloggers can’t be beat. 🙂
Question # 4 – Give some advice to new bloggers.
Write and post whatever you want to. Don’t worry whether anyone will like what you write. It’s true some will read and like, others will pass on by, but that happens to everyone. Don’t worry if your blogging starts off slow. The more you blog, the more you interact with other bloggers by reading, liking, and commenting on their blogs, the more they will come see what yours is all about. It’s pretty much a mutual back and forth kind of deal. Mostly just have fun, try different things, and don’t give up your writing adventure. 🙂
And now, for # 5 – Nominate others …
I usually don’t do personal nominations, as I feel every blogger works hard at maintaining their blog, and all deserve to be recognized. If you’d enjoy adding this award to your blog please feel free to do so. 🙂

That was exactly how I started too, and I walked from Blogger for exactly the same reasons. And that’s good advice.

Thanks!
I know many people give up their blogging when they don’t get immediate results. I’m glad I kept on after my first one on Blogger barely had anyone looking at it. Somehow there are those that make a success at it there. WP has been the best place for me. 🙂

Blogger used to tell me that there were rughly the same number of views, but nobody ever interacted. No likes, no comments, even to say I was writing rubbish. I found Fandango somehow, could happily comment of his posts with a WP account, but he complained about how difficult it was to comment on mine. I figured that everyone was going through that… WP is far easier just because we all have common logins.

I agree. When I started on Blogger it was because I heard it was pretty easy to figure out, but I found it was just the opposite. WP is so much easier in regards to liking and commenting and finding wonderful people to interact with. 🙂

Thanks so much! I might try this some day. Does it delete them all from the Blogger site of mine, though? I wouldn’t want to lose them over there.

No, it doesn’t delete them from Blogger. I used that trick when I first started on WP way back in the day on my old blog. Worked like a charm. 🙂
