Lost and Lonely
***
Spirit roams
Lost and lonely
Searching for the soul
You feel it’s wandering
Lost and lonely
Foggy thoughts not whole
Spirit weeps in confusion
Illusion – delusion
Lost and lonely
Drifting in the evernight
Will you not give Spirit solace
Guide him to everlasting light
My photo of a foggy night with a light shining through

Thanks so much, Sadje! Glad you liked this one, and I was surprised the photo of fog turned out, since it was so dark outside at the time. 🙂

I thought that was a very unique twist, to have a spirit searching for a soul instead of a body. Nicely done. 🙂

Thanks, Vanessa!
It was sort of showing the disconnectedness a Spirit might feel – separated from their earthly body, from all they ever knew, from their very soul, and yearning for peace and understanding.
I’m glad you enjoyed this one. 🙂
