“Telstar”, by the Tornados, was released as a single from the album, “Telstar – The Sounds of the Tornadoes”, in 1962. It is on the Decca (UK) and London (USA) labels, and was written by Joe Meek.




Post a popular ballad that contains a woman’s name in the title.


“Oh, Donna”, by Ritchie Valens, was written by him, as a tribute to his high school sweetheart. It was released in 1958, and is on the Del-Fi Records label.


Post a rock music video that has a violin or cello solo.


“Dust in the Wind”, by Kansas was written by Kerry Livgren, and was released on the Kirsher label in 1977, from their album, “Point of Know Return”.
