It’s taken me awhile to do this post. First I thought of wrapping paper, but I don’t use a lot of it any more, because I usually just put a gift in a pretty gift bag with some tissue paper. Looks pretty and is easy to do.
I used to get all creative, but that was a long time ago.
Anyway, I remembered back in the 60s or 70s people would use the word ‘rap’ a lot. It meant they wanted to talk.
Here are some definitions I found for the word ‘rap’ used in this way:
To talk, speak, chat, exchange thoughts with, and have a conversation with someone.
talk or chat in an easy and familiar manner.
This is a fun song we used to hear all the time, and I remembered I do still have this record. 🙂
“The Rapper”, by The Jaggerz, was released in 1970. It became a big hit for the band. It was written by Donnie Iris.

Well, when making this post, I couldn’t seem to get the video loaded like I wanted, and kept messing around with it. I accidentally hit the publish button instead of the preview button, and had to trash the whole thing and start over. hahaha – yeah, not all that funny.
Also, I kept thinking this was Friday today. My daughter caught me out on that one, and we did have a laugh over that boo-boo. 🙂
And now I will wrap this rap post up by wishing you all a wonderful weekend without too many mess-ups.
Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️
