Flower of the Day – Homecoming Mums

It’s getting that time of year, when schools get ready for football season, and homecoming games. These are pretty artificial flower mums with your school colors of ribbon streamers, and people can decorate them with all kinds of little charms.
When I was in school, we only had the real flower mums. They were giant sized, too, and so fun to wear.

That was so interesting to read about, and the how to video of making them was cool. Amazing that some can weigh up to 20 pounds! That bow maker machine was pretty neat, too. 😉
