What’s On Top?

***

I saw this on a friend’s FB, and thought it would be fun for us. What do you think?

***

My answer to what is on top of my fridge is:

Main refrigerator –

  • Large package of paper towels
  • Large package of napkins
  • 3 empty pitchers (we use them for water to take out to the kitty’s bowls)

Little refrigerator –

  • Combination stereo with turntable/CD slot/cassette slot/and radio

Little Freezer in garage –

  • Large package of toilet paper rolls
  • Supply of tissue boxes
  • Large box of recipes (from the Army kitchens – in amounts to feed large troops)

That’s all that’s up there. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. My fridge is housed in a little cubby built just for it. So there’s cupboards on top and probably some dust (one can’t clean in there without pulling the fridge completely out. The little freezer in the garage? Nothing, but there has been: Acrylic paintings (by me), toilet paper packages, recyclable cardboard waiting to be broken down, Christmas ornaments in their box, Christmas lights in their box, miscellaneous paper ‘junk’ in a grocery bag….yeah I move stuff off of there all the time. So a burglar might never know what they’d get off the freezer.

    • Thanks, Melanie!
It’s funny how things pile up and we have to shift them around. I like hearing about your miscellaneous items on top of the little freezer. It’s like a grab bag, never knowing what someone would find up there on any given day. Same here, except mostly I have all kinds of junk up on top of our dryer. I have to move it over all the time, and of course other things get put up there. I say I’m going through it but just get so far and leave it there. haha. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Garbage bags. That’s it. It might have been more interesting a week ago, but we’re cleaning up to get ready to move so… yeah. Right now it’s just garbage bags. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Willow!
Moving does get everything out of order I know. Glad you know where your garbage bags are when you need one. They sure are a good thing to have when you’re moving. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Haha! I love this! ๐Ÿ™‚ And I found it adorable that you keep a few pitchers up there for the outdoor kitty’s water bowls. You know that you stole my heart there ๐Ÿ˜‰

We are in the middle of home renovations, which means everything is EVERYWHERE all over the house. (sigh) However, before it was cleaned up and moved, the big fridge had popcorn, paper towels, saltine crackers and a plastic bag holder/dispenser.

The mini-fridge has a small night light type cat lamp and some paint brushes!

Sending lots of love & blessings your way. Hope you are well โ™ฅ Sorry I’ve been out of touch!

    • Thanks, Holly! Yep, twice a day we feed & water the outside kitties, so those pitchers get used a lot. They are real handy up on the fridge.
I can imagine how confusing it is with doing a renovation. I’m sure it will be great when it’s finished, and you can find places for things. It’s fun to hear what you had up on the fridge.
Love & blessings to you, also! โค

    • Thanks, Cee! You’re right in there with the majority of the fridge dust collectors! We don’t have much room to put much on top of ours, as the cabinets hang over half of the space. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Fandango!
That’s good you get no dust on top of your fridge. I think the tops are mostly used for storage of large items, but since you have cabinets right up there, it works out fine, I’ll bet. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Carol Anne!
Fun to hear what’s on top of your fridge & freezer. There always needs to be a place for odds and ends like tape and paper clips, as these little things accumulate. A basket is a great place. ๐Ÿ™‚
