Over the Rainbow Bridge – RIP Cricket

Over the Rainbow Bridge – RIP Cricket

I’m so sad to say that our fur baby Cricket crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning.

She had not been well this past week, and after antibiotics and steroids weren’t working, she took a serious turn for the worse over the weekend.

After 10 years of being a part of our family, Cricket will be missed so much. She was loved.

I don’t know your beliefs, but I believe we will see our beloved pets again someday. In my mind’s vision, I saw all our other pets who have gone across the bridge, come gathering around to welcome Cricket. She will not be alone or lonely there.

I never say good-bye, just …see you later. ❤

  1. I am so sorry for your sad loss. Cricket was a beauty and I know how you are hurting. I also believe we will be reunited one day with our beloved pets.

  2. Barbara {{{hugs}}} to you on Cricket passing over the rainbow bridge. I believe the same about our furbabies, that they are having the time of their lives in heaven and waiting for us to get there.

  3. Ohhh noooo! Not Cricket! Oh my goodness, Barb, I’m sorry for your loss. She was such a cutie sweetie pie. I’m so glad y’all had ten loving years together. ❤

  4. So sorry Barbara. My heart breaks for you guys. I believe we will be reunited too. I am sure Cricket is looking Bud up and down about now saying “oh no not you” Haha He was the best too! Will always remember them two as such a sweet part of your family. Big hug my friend!!

  5. I’m so sorry! I wonder if her erratic food behavior was related to the steroids. I also believe that the God who delights in all his creatures will reunite us in heaven. Such a consolation.

  6. Nooooooooo!!!!! I’m so very sorry, Barb. I loved seeing your photos of Cricket. She seemed like such a sweet kitty. My thoughts go out to you, and I hope Cricket is doing well over the Bridge…

    • Thanks so much, Bill.
I keep expecting to see her in all her favorite places, but sadly it’s not going to be. Glad you liked seeing her photos – she was the last of our pets, and I sure miss her. ❤

    • Thanks so much, Cindy! I’ll bet Hebert is a darling kitty. 🙂
Norwegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon Cat is always what we thought Cricket looked like. She was a sweetie. 🙂
