July Squares # 19 – Blue – One Fish – Two Fish

July Blues

This is a month of blue! It’s a fun challenge created by Becky of “The Life of B”, and each day we show something blue. The only rule beside blue, is that the photo MUST be SQUARE!

As an added bonus, I’ve found songs with blue in the title or lyrics, or at least something to do with the photo. 🙂

Thanks, Becky!

These are a couple of fish I saw at the Kansas City MO aquarium. One is big and blue, the other is black with a blue vertical stripe, and fins of yellow and orange. They are swimming in a pretty blue highlighted enclosure with rocks.

“Too Many Fish in the Sea”, by the Marvelettes, was released in 1964. It was written by Norman Whitfield and Eddie Holland.

    • Thanks so much, Becky! This big blue fish was so unusual! I’m surprised I made it through the aquarium that day, because I have such a fish phobia. 🙂
Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend!

      • haha well we were on vacation with family and they all wanted to go, so …
It was pretty freaky surrounded by so many fishy things, but better than I thought it would be, and only jumped and screamed one time! 🙂

    • Thanks, Diana! It is a fun challenge that Becky hosts. Yay for happy fish! 🙂
I try to find a song to go along with the topic or photo. I don’t think I’d heard this one either until I was searching for one. It’s a good one, though. 🙂
