Wordless Wednesday – Sea Star

Wordless Wednesday – Sea Star

Wordless Wednesday

This is a pretty pink sea star – starfish, with purple accent dots on it, resting on dark colored rocks. We saw this at the Kansas City Missouri Aquarium.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. I’ve never seen one that looked like this one. Far different coloring here. Beautiful.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Barbara. ♥

    • Thanks, Sandee!
I’d never seen one before, myself. There were lots of them, and this is what they looked like. I can’t speak for how the lighting was done in the place, but I think it was just regular. Anyway, these creatures are so interesting! ❤

    • You’re welcome!
We visited our daughter and family in KC about this time last year. I was going over some of the photos I’d taken of the aquarium and zoo, and found this one I really liked. I didn’t know there were pink ones, either! 🙂

  2. How pretty! When we were in Norway a couple of years ago we were walking along the pier and saw a starfish left on the wooden planks. It was still alive but drying out so we put it back in the water. I suppose someone fishing had caught it and just left it there. I hope it survived.

    • Thanks! There were so many interesting creatures to see there at the aquarium. I was surprised they didn’t bother me much, just one time. You know how I am about fish! haha 🙂

      • I do! I kind of wondered if you WENT or if this was some photo someone sent to you to prove the value of water creatures 😉

      • haha! Nope, I took this picture myself, and a lot more of all kinds of under sea creatures. Only that one time did a fishy one make me jump. I was surprised myself! 🙂

    • Ooh cool, Carol Anne! To hold one must have felt kind of weird! Aquariums are such neat places to see underwater creatures we’d never have a chance to see normally. 🙂
