Just Jot It January – Memento – Day 7

#JusJoJan 2019 Daily Prompt – Jan. 7th

Your prompt for JusJoJan 2019, January 7th is brought to you by Tara! Click here to find her last post and say hi while you’re there! Tara’s word for our prompt today is “memento.” Use it anywhere in your post or make it the theme of your post. Have fun!

Memento is the word of the day here on Just Jot It January. Thanks so much, Tara!

The thing is, I have so many mementos that I don’t even know where to start. That makes me not in a mood to do anything…you know, decisions are not my strong suit at all. I get bogged down in which one, which one, which one. Ugh!

I have posts about mementos called “What’s In the Box?”, that I post every now and again. I haven’t got one ready for today, though, and not wanting to go dig around in the boxes in the garage right now. So, here’s the last one I last posted about…  here

Mementos can come in all kinds of ways, I think. There’s the actual items you’ve saved from a vacation, or from a special occasion. There’s also mementos from family members that you’ve inherited when they passed away. You can put the paper things in a scrapbook, and you can set the knick-knacks around in your house, and both are good ways to keep a memento. Photographs are also mementos, I think, as well as our own memories that we store and think about.

Meanwhile, here are some mementos I have.

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

    • Thanks, Tara. Going through the boxes makes me wonder, too, why some things were stashed away for so many years. I still don’t know what to do with it all, so I do take a photo at least.
