Just Jot It January & Stream of Consciousness Saturday – S

Just Jot It January & SOCS – S

The Friday Reminder for #SoCS & #JusJoJan 2019 Daily Prompt – Jan. 5th

Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “sap/sep/sip/sop/sup.” Use one or all of these words or find a word that contains them, but most of all, have fun! Wondering what to do with “sep”? This is interesting: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=SEP Enjoy!

Well, that prompt is quite a tongue twister! sap/sep/sip/sop/sup … say that real fast a few times. haha! I didn’t put them all in the title of this post, though. It would have made for a very long title.

Now, I’ll take an intermission while I think of something to say about it. I do that a lot…take a break from writing posts. I get distracted and just leave it with that little line blinking blinking blinking, and then come back later. Or do something else. Does everyone else do this, or just me?

Okay, I’m back, and it’s been about 24 hours. I still have no idea what to say about the prompt. Except, I’m getting a headache trying to think of something. Ugh.

A sap in September, sipped and sopped up his supper.

*** intermission again…while I go take my medicine, and put a load of laundry that’s already washed, into the dryer.

*** Done, and I figure I’m done with this sappy ramble on a super Saturday that is not in September. I’m going to sip some more iced tea for now, and think up something we can sop up for our supper later on.

Happy Saturday!

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. I always appreciate your honesty on SoCS. I also get distracted and get up from the computer. It’s better for my body not to sit too long at the computer. I need to stretch. Happy Saturday!

    • Thanks, JoAnna! Glad I’m not the only one who gets up and down. I should do it more, because I can at times sit here for way too long! It’s good to walk around, do something else occasionally. 🙂

  2. I do that all the time! Sometimes my post starts in the morning, and ends before bed…or ends up in the draft pile I forget about until I dig it out again weeks later…

    • It’s funny that no one knows, unless we say we’ve taken a break and finished the post later. I’ve got lots of drafts I plan on getting to, but after awhile forget them, too.
(oh, I had to rescue you from the spam file for some reason your comment was over there!)

  3. Sometimes I feel like that too. Better to do it in spurts. It’s like the words are hidden in the laundry basket, or on the countertop, or behind the trash can 😛 Maybe that’s just me!
