  1. I had a projector “planetarium” like that when I was a kid. 30 years ago, you could still see the stars in the sky around here on a clear night, and I was fascinated once I learned what all the different constellations were. Now there is too much light pollution to see anything…

    • That projector sounds pretty neat. I hadn’t heard of one like that. It’s a shame there is so much light pollution these days. I don’t think we have a lot of it around here, but probably some. We can still see all the bright stars & planets on a clear night. So pretty. We’ve seen the space shuttle flying over from time to time, too.

  2. Oooh I love these photos! Lava lamps were my favorites. I had the most amazing collection with all sorts of sizes and colors. They are the most relaxing things to watch! Thanks for bringing back fond memories. I think often of purchasing some more 🙂 ❤

    • Thanks, Holly! How cool you had several lava lamps! I had one of the original large ones way back when. The one I have now is a newer one and smaller, but still makes all the pretty images inside. 🙂

      • The original large ones were the best! They got hotter than I don’t know what but they were awesome 😀

Glad to find a fellow lava lamp lover 🙂

      • hee hee 🙂 lava lamp lover! The large ones were the best, but I’m glad they still have even the smaller ones these days. 🙂
