I had a projector “planetarium” like that when I was a kid. 30 years ago, you could still see the stars in the sky around here on a clear night, and I was fascinated once I learned what all the different constellations were. Now there is too much light pollution to see anything…

That projector sounds pretty neat. I hadn’t heard of one like that. It’s a shame there is so much light pollution these days. I don’t think we have a lot of it around here, but probably some. We can still see all the bright stars & planets on a clear night. So pretty. We’ve seen the space shuttle flying over from time to time, too.

Those candles in painted jars are pretty! I reckon you have to use special paint? I likey.

Thanks, Joey! It was really easy to make these. Just modge podge with food coloring in it, and swirl it around the inside of the glass jar, and let dry. The little candles are those battery ones. 🙂

Oooh I love these photos! Lava lamps were my favorites. I had the most amazing collection with all sorts of sizes and colors. They are the most relaxing things to watch! Thanks for bringing back fond memories. I think often of purchasing some more 🙂 ❤

Thanks, Holly! How cool you had several lava lamps! I had one of the original large ones way back when. The one I have now is a newer one and smaller, but still makes all the pretty images inside. 🙂
